Our Vision for Reading at Headcorn Primary School...
Central to learning is creating a life-long love of reading and books. At Headcorn School, reading is at the heart of our curriculum and we strive for our pupils to become confident, reflective and enthusiastic readers by the time they reach the end of Key Stage 2. We recognise that it is not only necessary to master the skill of reading but to have a passion for it as well. Reading is at the heart of everything we do; it opens the door to a wealth of opportunities and experiences that otherwise would be unreachable.
