School Council
At Headcorn Primary School, the School Council plays an important role in ensuring all pupils have the opportunity to have their voice heard. We have one School Council member per class from Years 2-6. Each class votes for their School Council representative, usually in February as this links to our assembly week focussing on the theme of democracy. The School Council meets with Miss Harman every other Friday to discuss issues and ideas that have been raised by their peers and/or staff. Some of our Key Stage Two School Councillors have recently taken on the role of Chair, Deputy Chair and Secretary and have begun leading some of these meetings themselves.
