Our Pupil Leaders have had a busy week putting plans in place for their individual roles. We are very proud of these pupils and how they have stepped up into their roles and taken on responsibilities that they are passionate about.
The Learning Council has finalised their Pupil School Improvement Plan and held TED (Together Everyone Decides) meetings to discuss different teaching and learning opportunities across the school. They are also focussing on improving pupil wellbeing as part of their remit.
The Green Team are in the process of collecting data around air pollution before launching a poster campaign to address this for our site. They are also planning to address littering and are organising the classes to plant the large number of saplings we have had delivered by the Woodland Trust to provide a tree-screen at the back of the field in the longer term.
The House Captains have been taking up their roles of supporting in the lunch hall and providing in-class support for Years R, 1 and 2 at the start of the afternoons. The younger children are really enjoying working with these enthusiastic leaders.
The Sports Council are organising an Intra-house Gymnastics competition to balance on a line or spot marker for as long as they can. This is following the success of last term's basketball bounce.
