Thank you to everyone who was able to pop in for 'Meet the Teacher' on Tuesday. It was lovely to see the children showing their parents and carers around. One parent said it was really lovely seeing where their child lived during the day: where their seat, their tray, their locker was. Now they can picture them at school.
We look forward to offering more opportunities along these lines through our Family Days and Stay & Play sessions which will be offered across the academic year.
This October we are joining forces with 1000 Hours which is a Kindness Revolution initiated by a charity based in Ashford. We took part in this last year as the children really enjoyed finding ways of bringing kindness into other people's lives both at home, in school and across the community.
One act of kindness we can all get on board with soon is the celebration of Harvest. This year we will be collecting for the homeless and families in need in our community and in Maidstone. Please be generous. Please read more below.
