This week Year 6 has already been on their very first school trip of the year. They boarded the train to London to visit the Houses of Parliament taking a tour listening to the history and quirky stories of Westminster Palace all the while rubbing shoulders with politicians and the odd TV presenter!
They then pounded the London pavements taking in as many sites as possible. To say we were tired on the train journey home is an understatement, however, a fantastic day was had by all. We are so privileged to live in a village with such easy links to the city. The staff are busy planning our next jaunt into the Big Smoke!
Our new Reception classes have started their half day sessions. We love their confidence and keenness to learn and look forward to watching their individual personalities blossom even further as they begin their full-time days next Friday!
