Headcorn Primary School is at the heart of the village and we consider ourselves to be an integral part of the wider community. Groups of children often explore the village environment as part of their topic work and local visitors come into the school to share their knowledge of the area.

Kent Community Health Information
Sure Start Children’s Centres are at the heart of the Government’s drive to provide accessible, integrated early childhood services for all parents-to-be and families with young children, including wider family members such as grandparents. All the Children Centres in Maidstone offer lots of interesting activities and support to Parents/Carers. They are a good resource especially for preparation for readiness for school.

Links with Our Community
The school choir 'The HP Singers' have links with Eldercare and the residents of Culpepper Court and perform regularly in the community at Christmas time. We also have strong links with St Peter's & St Paul's Church, Headcorn, The Parish Council , The Old School House (TOSH), Paula's Preschool and The Rotary Club.
We have recently been invited by The Big Cat Sanctuary, Smarden to design and trial their new education programme. We also have made links with Maidstone Museum and their Ancient Civilisations Education Programme.
